It is aluminum foil sold in flexible form: on a roll, as pre-cut sheets, or laminated to paper as a wrap. Foil itself is a true barrier to moisture, oxygen, light and grease, it takes heat and cold well, and it is fully recyclable. The only "paper" in the category is the non-stick backing on sandwich wrap and parchment — the foil is pure aluminum.
