Disposable Foil Drip Pans & Grease Trays for Gas, Charcoal & Pellet Grills — Wholesale & OEM
SEPACK manufactures disposable aluminum foil grill drip pans — the foil pans that catch grease and drippings under the grate or in the grease tray of a gas, charcoal or pellet grill, so the grill is thrown clean instead of scraped. The same pans work as indirect-grilling drip pans and smoker water pans. Sized to fit popular grills and grease trays, and to drop under the grate. Wholesale and private-label, for retail and grill brands.

Pans are sized to grease trays and grates and made to fit popular grill models; gauge, size and printing are set per order. For the hanging grease bucket and cup liners that pellet grills drain into, see grease bucket liners; for half-pan sizing, steam table pans.
Grease is the price of grilling. Fat renders off the food, drips through the grate, and bakes onto the grease tray and the inside of the grill into a hard, smoky crust. A foil drip pan intercepts it during the cook and is thrown out after, so the grill stays clean and grease management stops being a chore. This guide covers where the pan goes, the smoker water-pan trick, grill fit, and how a drip pan differs from a grease bucket liner.
A drip pan works in two positions. Many grills funnel drippings to a grease tray under the firebox; lining that tray with a foil pan means the grease collects in the pan and lifts straight out, with no scraping. On grills without a tray, or for indirect cooking, the pan goes directly under the grate beneath the food to catch what drips. Some cooks use both — a tray liner for routine grilling and an under-grate pan for roasts. The grill design and the cook decide the position.
The same foil pan has a second job in a smoker. Filled with water and set in the cooking chamber, it adds humidity and acts as a heat sink that steadies the temperature — the key to long, low-and-slow smoking where swings in heat dry out the meat. It still catches drippings while it does this. For pitmasters, a foil pan is both the water pan and the drip pan, which is why these pans sell as much to the smoking crowd as to grillers.
Indirect grilling is how you cook a roast, ribs or a whole bird on a grill without charring the outside, and a drip pan is part of the setup. Placed under the food away from the direct flame, it catches the fat that would otherwise hit the coals or burner and cause flare-ups — the flames that scorch food and add soot. The pan can also hold water or aromatics to add moisture and flavor. It turns a grill into something closer to an oven for the long cooks that need it.
A drip pan only helps if it fits the grill, so sizing to common models matters. Pans are made to drop into the grease trays and sit under the grates of the popular gas, charcoal and pellet grills — the Weber, Traeger and Big Green Egg lines among them — and custom sizes match other models and commercial units. For a retailer or a grill brand, a drip pan sized to the grills customers own is a steady consumable that sells with every cookout season.
Two foil products handle grill grease, and they work at different points. A drip pan is the flat pan that catches drippings inside the grill, in the tray or under the grate, as the food cooks. A grease bucket liner lines the hanging bucket or cup that a pellet grill drains its collected grease into, below the grill. One catches grease during the cook; the other holds it after it drains out. Many grills use both, and the matching bucket liners are on the grease bucket liners page.
Grill drip pans are single-material aluminum and fully recyclable, and recycling aluminum uses a small share of the energy of primary production. Sourced alongside grease bucket liners and the rest of a foil packaging program, the grill grease line ships on one spec and one consolidated container, food-grade and compliant for North American, European and export markets.
